Sixth plate daguerreotype. Gentleman wearing a top hat. The sitter looks like a tough businessman in his tall hat and heavy winter coat. The image has been resealed and it is in a full case with a split hinge.

Sixth plate daguerreotype. Lovely young woman with languid eyes . . . plus a second dag! Accompanying this fine image is a ninth plate dag of the same woman (I believe). The sixth plate has been resealed and is in a full case. The ninth has old paper seals and is in a half case. Click on the image to see the ninth plate dag.

Sixth plate ambrotype. Pretty young woman festooned with ribbons and jewelry. By William R. Knapp, 559 Broadway, N.Y. The mat is signed CUTTINGS PATENT JULY 11, 1854. In a full case.

Sixth plate daguerreotype. Boy on plush couch. The young boy looks as if he were instructed not to move an eyelash. The chair was very realistically tinted cranberry. No wipe marks; resealed. The image is housed in an excellent Union case with one tiny corner crack.
